He waited 25 years for his return for a vengeance and when he returned its fultu dhamaal by Son of Sardar. Son of Sardar is like a smooth butter on a Punjabi paratha and taste extremely delicious and mouth watering and definitely not for diet or calorie conscious Janta because this movie serves you an extremely delightful buttery menu of laugh riots, peppy songs, supreme camerawork ,Jaw dropping stunts and great performances.

If a family feud and vengeance could have been funny than this is the only destination to watch for. Son of Sardar is extremely underrated by xyz media houses and SRK Fan Clubs on many social media sites, IMDB, RMH which would hardly effects the collections of the movie because it has all the ingredients of a delectable dish which a true gourmet (moviegoer) will always appreciate

Son of Sardar has no proper story very frankly and is based on a plot. The plot is about two rivalries of two families, an urge of vengeance, and a tradition of respect guest within home boundaries and absolutely love. This plot is further developed by an excellent screenplay by Robin Bhatt and Ashwni Dhir with a spicy tadka of fully enjoyable lyrical dialogues by Ashwni and foot tapping Punjabi numbers. . It’s a pure potboiler of  Ready, Singham, Dabanng regime and finding logics could disappoint you and flowing with the flow of the movie will entertain you.

Ashwni Dhir, the Director has done a pretty good job to develop the simple plot into an enjoyable ride. First he has covered colors of Punjab very beautifully and is very authentic. Second Character Sketch of such a wide ensemble cast is well thought and well presented. He has successfully extracted the best performances from his entire cast. Third , the Camerawork  and the camera angles experimented along with cinematographer Aseem Bajaj is one of the best ever seen in bollywood regime especially for a potboiler which is the major strength of the movie and made Son of Sardar visually appealing. Stunt Director has done an excellent work

Performances, Ajay Devgan is supremely good as a Sardar. He is perfect in comical timings as well as intense scenes. Sonakshi is an eye treat, and here please welcome our Sanjay Dutt as one of the best enjoyable Punjabi villain you could have ever seen. Juhi Chawla is refreshing, Mukel dev, Bindu, Tanuja all played well their roles perfect thou Tanuja ji’s role as Sanjay Dutt mother is not properly developed.

Music,
a)      Bichdann” by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab is extremely well penned and well sung. I’m honored as a listener that still lyricist and music director has given such a meaningful song with soul
b)     Po Po”, “Son of Sardar” “Rani tu Main Raja” and “Tu Kamal di Kudi” are musically rich foot tapping songs and lyrically doesnot make more sense.
c)      Yeh Jo halki Halki Khumariya” is average.

At last, To all XYZ fan Clubs & Critics, Kade Hans Bhi Liya KarO  ;) eNJOY

Who is God? Does he exist? If he exists then why he doesn’t appear whenever we need him? Can we find him at worship places  or simply these places &  people associated with them has become the centre of commercialization of God and religion because mostly we are God fearing people not God Loving People? OMG ! (Oh my God !) is an internal war of thoughts between an atheist and God which becomes external when a middle class  shop owner Kanji Bhai lost his only earning source his Shop in Mumbai Chor Bazaar due to an earthquake and the insurance company denied his right of claim proving the incident being ‘An Act of God.’

OMG!  Is a simple heart shacking comedy, its shacking because it dares to discuss on a topic which has become an epidemic in India these days. Every morning  on national television you will find few self declared demi Gods giving you Dharm Gyan and asking you for the money at the same timings. Some are teaching Yoga and some are telling the solutions for your problems on the name of third eye remember Nirmal Baba? The heights are when you see known celebrities like Govinda selling ‘Laxmi yantra’ despite his own falling career and few junior artists who are selling ‘Hanuman yantra’ ,‘Nazar Kawach’, ‘Shani Yantra’ by actually making you scared and taking benefit your blind faith.

Umesh Shukla, the director of the movie has done a decent job, first by keeping the length of the movie short and second by handling a very sensitive topic in a light comical style & showing all the arguments against God preachers with their logics right at place. One thing need to be understood that this movie is not against God or someone who has sued God but against God Preachers who sells religion and God to the common public in the name of fear. Despite being director first venture in commercial cinema he tried to keep the things crisp and entertaining without mess up thou script has huge scope of improvement since it focus mainly on one side and succeed partially to show the difference between faith and blind faith clearly.

Paresh Rawal as Kanji Bhai has done impressively one of his best commercial cinema act and undoubtedly this movie belongs to him. He is the central character &  all other complement him to move the story forward. He is as usual best in terms of comic sense with his wittier lines.

Akshay Kumar as 21st century God Avtar has nothing much to prove in terms of performance but as a producer we must thank him to be a part of a sensible movie unlike his earlier bunch of movies like ‘Tees Maar Khan’, ‘Thank you’ etc. Thou as an appreciation factor he looks Good and even young in the movie with a solid bike riding entry (Kudos to Stunt director)

Mahesh Manjrekar as an opponent advocate does a decent job and Mithun Chakraborty as Leeladhar Ji is impressive and will definitely make you smile (His looks are similar to one of the most popular swami ji today …Guess who ?). Govind Namdeo unfortunately had a limited script to show his full potential.

Music by Himesh Reshammiya  & Meet Bros Anjjan is average thou song ‘Yeh Nishann Dhoond raha’ is meaningful.  Cinematography by Sethu Sriram is average.

OMG! is an genuine attempt to educate and axe bind faith amongst general public and would  successfully convince that God lies in Heart…The More You Love Him, The More He is Nearer to You

Jai Shri Krishna !
