What comes in mind when someone talks of Bombay- Simply Bollywood and Underwood (Read underworld)... A city which is known as Dream city for millions of people turned red & black due to two Men’s dreams- One who do bad for the sake of Good of others and other one who do bad for the sake of Good of Oneself... “Once upon a time” is an eye to eye thriller between two wrongs rather than one wrong and one Right; the all fight lies finding less wrong than the other.

Sultan Mirza(Ajay Devgan) has risen as a robin hood in the 70’s Bombay whose business of smuggling has grown by leaps and bounds since Sultan Mirza has divided the city into separate regions under business heads so that business of evil doesn’t lose link due to internal mafia conflicts. Agnel Wilson(Randeep Hooda) who took charge to arrest Sultan Mirza under smuggling charges decided to use Rehana (Kangna Ranaut) – The bollywood Superstar & Sultan’s Heart against Mirza as an evidence but the game turned opposite. Meanwhile Shoaib Khan(Emraan Hashmi) – a small street thieve dreamt of becoming bigger than Sultan and Joined Sultan’s Mafia…And that’s how the story took a new turn not only in the life of Sultan & Mumtaz (Prachi Desai) but in the Life of Mumbaai…

AJAY (meaning-No one can Win) Devgan has came and conquered everyone’s heart and eyeballs by his one of the best performances ever; He undoubtedly proves the worth of his name.
Emran Hashmi who is the second lead proves no lesser than the counterpart and stands tall. Randeep Hooda in his Strict inspector Avtar showed his decent acting potential .
Kangna Raunat in her 70’s diva Avatar looks sexilious and would flat you by her charming dress up (Kudos to fashion designers and creative team).
Prachi Desai looks cute and adorable; her “Bobby” Avatar will seriously make your beats run.
Gauhar Khan whose item number “Parda” take you to the Bollywood’s 70’s golden era beautifully choreographed by Raju Khan.

Songs like “ Pee Loon” and “Tum Jo Aaye” are beautifully penned by Irshad Kamil and composed by Pritam. You can recall the freshness of them even after leaving theatres. Nitin C. Desai(Art) and Aseem Mishra( Cinematography) has done a remarkable Job to visualise 70’S Mumbaai …

A special mention for Ekta kapoor who has dropped her extra “K” From his name and produced a sensible movie…

Now this is a man who really deserves mention “Rajat Aroraa”- for his poetic dialogues and screenplay. A Mafia movie becomes adorable because of his writing. Milan luthria has given a decent and watchable movie (Special mention to team of young Assistant directors too) enough to forgive few of his earlier ventures. Ya there is suggestion to editing dept. - There were NO 1000 rupee note in 70’s

With 8.05 AvG Score “Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai” secures SILVER as a AVA MEDAL HONOUR™© Watch the Cinematic Golden Journey of Mumbaai …Enjoy :_)
