Reason?

His fiancée updated his relationship from committed to SINGLE :)

Well this is a joke and nothing to do with the plot of main story but this is in reference to the dependence of today’s generation on social networking sites where EMOTICONS has replaced our original expressions, where relationship is a matter of clicks & where to laugh we are comfortable to write LOL rather than showing it from heart. 

Based on the Novel “The Accidental Billionaires” by Ben Mezrich, The Social Network majorly tells the story of the Facebook birth and its success in the Net Social Space.

Mark Zukerberg  (Jesse Eisenberg) after his break up with his girl friend Erica Albright (Rooney Mara) decided to make a website by hacking the Data and pictures of Harvard Female students named as “FACEMESH”  which allows the students to Rate the two female students with the caption “Who is Hotter?”  which resulted into 22000 views of website within few hours. Mark has been punished for six months’ of academic probation and becomes a bad name in female community.  The success of Facemesh thou brought Mark into the eyes of twin brothers Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss  ( Armie Hammer) and Divya Narendra (Max Minghella) who are planning to make a site with a name HARVARD CONNECTION. As a result he gained a job as a programmer for the Harvard Connection.  Mark shared the similar idea to his best friend Eduardo Saverin (Andrew Garfield) to make a website with the name “THEFACEBOOK.COM”.  As the news flashes Mark is sued by twin brothers under Intellectual property rights infringement and later by his own best friend Eduardo for reducing his share from 30% to 0.03 % in the FACEBOOK.COM

Thumps Up Thumps Down (TUTD TM ) Analysis

1) AcT SenSE™

Jesse as Mark successfully portray the enthusiasm ,wittiness & genius of a high school lad who dream of becoming big .Justin Timerlake as Sean Parker is worth mentioning but it’s Mark’s Friends Eduardo which will take all the sympathies of Audience at the last hour.

2) Director's Eye™

David Fincher’s way of narrating the story has made even an average court room drama engaging and interesting. Thanks to its crisp screenplay and wittier writing too. Director has chosen to frame Mark testifying in dispositions in two lawsuits:

-One filed by twin brother for intellectual rights infringement

-And other by his Best friend Eduardo to get his right as a founder of Facebook.

Both Lawsuits run parallel in the movie along with the flashback of what could have been happened on grounds. The genuine part of the Screen Script™ lies to even show the grey matter of Mark for which both David as director and Aaron Sorkin for Screenplay deserves a special mention since No one has 100% shades of white. But how much ground reality lies in the script only the Facebook Founders would able to say. For e.g. Initially after Facemesh blunder, Mark seems to lost his fame in the Female community but interestingly later on its shown that ladies are even ready for night stands with Mark and Eduardo after the successful launch of Facebook. Either it shows the psyche of Women or the psyche of Director... a bit disputable ;_}

In Last

Wish The Social Network as it sounds could have also touched upon on humane side and the relevance of the Social Sites as a whole rather than just being a Facebook story. Thou it’s a Directors Choice Anyway The Social Network is a worth watch especially for those who wants to know nuisances of starting a New Venture.
