Your privacy may be somebody’s entertainment and source of income; your relationships can results increasing any news channel TRP; your friends and surroundings around which you live may become nightmares of your own live why?? Because this is digital age…Every moment is tracked without your notice whether its CCTV cameras in office; supermarkets or even on roads these days...Relationships are
meaningless and everyone wants to benefit himself/herself at any cost; Like one of the line in the movie truly says while pointing out Business of news channel like AAJ TAK “Desh ko seva nahi prime time entertainment chaiye Naina… tumahare jaisa (Country doesn’t require service it requires prime time entertainment Naina…Like You)”

LSD is a bitter; shocking yet engaging story told thru the eyes of a camera; for the first time in India a Camera is treated as an actor & narrator of the movie where you can actually feel that every moment is recorded of the people you may not know because film don’t have a known film cast at all.. But they have done their job well as per the script.

LSD is a combo of three stories where only one thing is most common … A Camera and the intentions of the one who is holding or controlling it.

First story is about a boy who shot a spoof on DDLJ and end up loving the lead actress of the movie; later both brutally murdered by girl’s family hired gundas ;second is about a boy working in a supermarket who is in urgent need of money and decided to make a porn MMS with his colleague in supermarket (without her knowledge) to make quick money and third is about a reporter who wants to do a sting operation with the support of a wanna be item girl in bollywood music videos.

But the movie has got few warnings too before you watch it…LSD is strictly no-no for a family watch as it becomes cheap many times due it’s all mother’s & sister’s like vocabulary and unhealthy Humour unlike director’s early ventures “Khosla ka Ghosla” and “Oye lucky lucky oye” and will more gel with hostel boys’ and front seaters like crowd. Camera work is shaggy and confused at many places which actually disturbs the flow of the movie.

Dibakar Banerjee; the director of the movie actually successfully if not perfectly carve out a different cinematic experience which is real yet entertaining; innovative yet acceptable… LSD may not proved to be a landmark but for the lovers of experimental cinema…This is one you can go for
