Dreams allows to explore the unexpected, inaccessible and
unthought but what if you get the chance
to experience that kind of journey in real?
The Hobbit : An Unexpected Journey is the first part of “
The Hobbit Trilogy” directed by Peter Jackson based on J.R.R.Tolkien’s 1937
novel “The Hobbit”. This first part comes alive on the silver screen and visually a splendour experience in 3D with
the first time used ‘24 frames per seconds’
technology. The movie starts with the 111th Birthday of
Hobbit Bilbo Baggins where he decides to
write down the complete story of his adventure which took place 60 years back
and then the movie flash back in time where he met Gandalf for the first time followed by his team of Dwarves and the Thorin.
The movie initially crawls to establish the plot line but
once the journey starts to trace the
lonely mountain , the adventure is rock solid thrilling. Each and every
character is well drawn and impressive and justified their presence.
Cinematography by Andrew Lesnie is at par excellence and music goes with the flow of the movie thou editing
department could have shortened the initial length of the movie to make it more
crispy for a popcorn entertainment.Visual Effect team has done an excellent
work to make this journey an unexpected but enjoyable one. Peter Jackson and
his team with the first part closure make you greedy to ask for more and with
the upcoming second instalment of the Hobbit series i.e. ‘The Hobbit : The
Desolation of Smaug’, the entertainment seems to go only higher ;) Enjoy
Thanks & Regards
