So here is a director with a Web (b) in his name, and no doubt no one else can weave better spider webs than Mr. Marc Web (b). Welcome to the one of the best reinvented franchisee of a superhero (after Nolan’s Batman) which makes you laugh, clap and feel good with lot of light moments where despite hero being a superhero   possess a good human heart, gets hurts & bleeds like a normal man, a good son and a decent boyfriend who stand tall as a superhero not because he can weave webs and jumps from one skyscraper to other but simply because of his willingness to excel in life and to stand out as a human being.

Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) who is exploring himself in his childhood and teenage came across the old leather case of his father which unveiled the world of his anxiety for genetic science and possibility of cross breeds .His anxiety led him to meet Dr.Curt Connors at Oscorp who is working on regeneration serum. His experiment is expected to bring out revolution in the health science but one missing equation stops him to achieve his dreams which becomes a cause of worry for his project sponsor Dr. Ratha (Irfan Khan) who is continuously pressuring Dr Connors (Rhys Ifans) to complete the project as soon as possible. Peter Parker being curious followed Dr. Ratha to his secret chambers where he finds his destiny…i.e. the classic spider bite J . Meanwhile Peter shared the missing equation of the experiment with Dr Connors which he learnt from his father white papers that could decide the future of cross breed and organ regeneration and the reason for which Peter Parker has to transform as SPIDERMAN.

No doubt James Vanderbilt & his team worked extraordinarily in terms of story and screenplay to reboot & revitalize the Spiderman series. What worked in the amazing Spiderman is the innocence of the characters whether it’s the Spiderman, Gwen Stacy, Mr. & Mrs. Parker and even the main villain of the movie, the Lizard. All characters remain true to their core without being dramatize, there is pure humane feeling while watching the characters as they feel & sense the same as we. The events seem to be more realistic and possible in nature.

Music by James Horner  keeps you glue to your seat and the cinematography by John Schwartzman has contribute significantly to make this larger than canvas movie felt really like a superhero film.

Regarding performances Andrew Garfield has successfully reestablish himself as an iconic Spiderman and even better. His expression are innocent as kid as required by the script who is exploring his world in his untold past and current teenage life & love. Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy looks cute and even more promising as a better half companion than in the earlier versions of Spiderman movies.

Dr.Marc Webb has done incredibly good job to relive the stale franchisee into a fresh storyline with the apt combination of humor, emotions, romance, adventure and very important more practical treatment of characters and story. For this movie audience has to clear that the first part of the amazing Spiderman has lot of layers to be opened in the forthcoming sequels like the character Dr. Ratha and the secrets of Peter Parker Parents. First part is more of an introduction to establish the baseline for the future stories.

A special mention for 3D effects which are not only world class but seems real and does not put pressure on your eyes and head.

There are many scenes from the movie which one enjoy to mention like
1)      Peter parker honing his skills on skateboard after realizing his spidy powers
2)      The class act of saving the kid from the hanging car
3)      Challenging his counterpart over basketball court
4)      Fooling criminals on street road by first getting scared and then punch them hard
5)      The scene where an old man is listening music by putting his headphones on and the fighting between lizard and Spiderman is going at his back
6)      Last struggle between lizard and Spiderman to save the city

Overall The Amazing Spiderman gives you the perfect summer adventurous treat for kids & families alike, this one you should not miss it!
