In a small town of UP where celebration means Blood, Power and anarchy ; where Political strategy lives in stinky drains of alcohol, money & religion discrimination two hearts despite opposite flow of hearts manage to initiate a change …a change of love thou this change may even cost to their lives to bring them alive as Ishaqjaade

Parma (Arjun Kapoor) is one of the grandsons of Chauhan, a political leader who is contesting for the post of the MLA. Chauhan‘s opponent Qureshi is the current MLA of the area. Chauhan and Qureshi are sworn enemies, whose fight for supremacy often leads to gun battles in broad daylight. On the other hand, Zoya (Parineeti Chopra), Qureshi‘s gusty daughter, is no less than her brothers in her hate for the Chauhans. Parma weave a plan to woo Zoya and soon Zoya got into trap in the plan and something happened  which shocked Zoya to the core realizing the truth. Soon she decides to kill Parma but his mother came to rescue him and hide Zoya in her Home from the evil eyes of Chauhans and Qureshis. Zoya, meanwhile, escapes from their home which brought her in the eyes of political evil eyes…Will she Survive? Will Parma came to her rescue?

Habib Faisal, the director of the movie has done a reasonably a decent job to present a story original in its texture, language, locations, characters which may live around you. Thou he missed the bringing the clear demarcation between a fiction and an issue based fiction. The first part thou an extremely enjoyable fiction the later half thou with the flow of the story becomes an issue based drama. Amit Trivedi‘s music and Hemant Chaturvedi’s cinematography is worth praising.

Now for the performances Arjun Kapoor is making debut with this movie and being the first movie in his non father production his labour & sweat is easily recognizable. Thou his character is not less than a politician Tapori  but very few would take risk to choose one in the launch movie. He has got the potential but need to work a lot on his own expressions since his smile gives the glimpse of Abhishek bacchan which could prove flat on his career.

Parineeti Chopra, she was one of the strongest pillars of the movie without any doubts. Her performance and character has given the strength to the movie to stand tall. The other gorgeous lady needs to be mentioned here, Gauhar Khan whose character has Chand baby has provided the requisite support and masala wherever required.

Habib Faisal’s Ishaqjaade missed from perfect score like Paan Singh Tomar & Kahaani but this could be an easily remember affair in Year 2012 Bollywood mela.
